The Exchange Live: Increasing Graduate Student Enrollment through Efficient Marketing and Recruitment Strategies
Tuesday, October 19 - 2:00 p.m. ET/11:00 a.m. PT
As universities face budget cuts, efforts to increase enrollment are met with fewer resources. This presentation will focus on identifying strategies to market programs, highlighting faculty involvement in the recruitment process. The efficient and cost effective marketing of programs is becoming a priority for graduate programs across the United States. This session will incorporate examples of high-impact cost-effective practices to increase enrollment and market programs. Presenters include Carrol Warren, Ed.D. and Michelle Bartlett, Ph.D., who both serve as faculty scholars, and James Bartlett II, Ph.D., director of academic programs, at the Belk Center for Community College Leadership and Research at North Carolina State University. All three presenters have extensive experience creating, developing, and growing online and hybrid graduate programs specific to higher education. Their work has been nationally recognized and has earned the support of external stakeholders, who have partnered with the university to support continued efforts to increase enrollment in distance programs for graduate students.
