NAGAP Webinar: Promising Practices in Graduate Admissions, Case Studies in Successful Innovation

The Mission of NAGAP is to support, advance and engage graduate enrollment professionals by promoting integrity, excellence and collaboration through education and professional development.

Date:

Tuesday, May 28, 2019 - 2:00pm to 3:00pm

Learn about promising practices for graduate admissions, curated from 71 interviews with faculty, deans, and staff across a broad variety of programs at the master’s and doctoral levels. In this session, you’ll hear about a range of ideas and options for consideration, whether your institution already has an established holistic review process, or has yet to begin its journey toward creating such a process. You’ll also learn how various promising practices are working at UNC Chapel Hill from the Dean of The Graduate School.

This session will be presented by Steve Matson, Dean of The Graduate School and Professor of Biology at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is the newest recipient of the Council of Graduate Schools’ Debra W. Stewart Award for Outstanding Leadership in Graduate Education.

This webinar is brought to NAGAP members from the generous support of ETS.
