Dear NAGAP Community:
Thank you for your continued patience as your elected Officers, Staff, and Board have been assessing our annual conference options. After much deliberation and to assure our members' health and safety, NAGAP has chosen to CANCEL our GEM Summit in Orlando, Florida April 22-25, 2020.
Things you need to know:
- Our current refund and cancellation policy, including today’s March 16 deadline, is no longer applicable. A formalized full refund process with several options is currently in development. If you have already contacted us, we have your request on file and will still offer you the other options once they become available.
- All hotels associated with the NAGAP GEM Summit will auto-cancel your room if booked in the NAGAP room block. You will receive a cancellation notice automatically from the hotel; note, this may take up to 72 hours. Hotels include Loews Royal Pacific Resort at Universal Orlando, Loews Sapphire Falls Resort at Universal Orlando, and Cabana Bay Resort at Universal Orlando.
- Most major airlines are currently waiving change/cancellation fees for tickets purchased for upcoming travel.
We ask that you refrain from contacting us regarding refunds at this time as we are working on our process and attending to the many details of cancelling the event. Please be aware that return calls and emails received at this time will likely be delayed. We ask for your patience with our staff as we work to make these changes.
